X-rays are an imaging technique that uses ionizing radiation to create images of the body's internal structures. They are particularly suitable for examining bone and joint disorders and for diagnosing certain diseases in the chest and abdomen. X-rays are expeditionary and are frequently used in small animal medicine.

Computer tomography (CT) is an imaging technique that uses X-rays to create detailed cross-sectional images of the body. It makes it possible to display internal structures in very high detail and thus supports the diagnosis and control of various diseases, for example in the area of the head, chest, abdomen and extremities.

Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is an imaging technique that uses strong magnetic fields to create detailed images of organs and tissues. It is particularly suitable for examining soft tissues such as the brain, spine, muscles and joints and is often used to diagnose diseases of the nervous system and the musculoskeletal system.
